
The objective of Preclinical Practice in Pet/Farm Animal Breeding is to provide the student with experience in general husbandry of a selected species/category of a pet/ farm animal(s). The student will actively assist with husbandry techniques and common care activities of the chosen pet/farm animal(s). The student will acquire fundamental practical skills concerning the rearing of the chosen species/category of farm animals. It is expected that the practical skills acquired during this work experience with the chosen breed (or breeds, technical events, etc.) of farm animals, will represent positive technical competences in the future graduate profile, the graduate will gain a broad-ranging insight and make a valuable connection with the private pet/farm animals' breeding sector - the potential clientele.
The course is opened for students of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology (3rd Year) - Academic Year 2024/2025.
